Maine State Police – Troop F’s weekly incident report…

4/07 - Tr. Flynn summonsed a 27 year old Connor woman for Operating after HO status and Violation of Bail stemming from a traffic stop on the Robinson Rd in Blaine.

4/07 - Tr. Michaud responded to a criminal mischief complaint in Caswell in which the walls of a garage had been spray painted with various letters and phrases. After a short neighborhood canvas, he learned that the inside walls of an adjacent home had been vandalized as well. 2 young male suspects were developed and the 13 year old boys admitted to what they had done. One of the juvenile’s parents is a contractor, and in working with the victims, it was agreed that the youths would work to repaint and repair the damage that they had done under the supervision of the contractor.

4/07 - Tr. Saucier arrested a 52 year old Pelham, NH man on an outstanding warrant in Sherman.

4/08 - Tr. Flynn charged a 34 year old Washburn woman with violation of bail after she repeatedly called her ex-husband whom she had bail conditions not to have contact with.

4/09 - Tr. Lilley responded to Patten to assist the S.0 with a family fight. Tr. Lilley went to house looking for subjects and they were not there, but Tr. Lilley recognized another male at residence that he knew had a warrant. Male was arrested without incident over his protests that the arrest wasn’t fair since they had the wrong address and were looking for someone else.

4/09-4/10 – Tr. Quint attended a job fair in Presque Isle and a Law Enforcement Career Day in St. Agatha. He used the Impaired/Distracted Driving Simulator at both events and got great feedback and participation by attendees.

4/09-4/11 - Tr. Saucier instructed at the BLETP on SFST and Intoxilyzer training.

4/10 - Tr. Levesque responded to a report of a vehicle crash on Rt. 1 at the Fort Kent/Frenchville town line. Marcel Cyr, age 57 of St. Agatha was northbound on Rt. 1 and struck a frost heave in the roadway. Cyr’s pickup, a 2003 Ford, has a plow on the front and upon striking the frost heave, the plow struck the ground and causing Cyr to lose control and go off the side of the road. Cyr was transported to Northern Maine Medical Center by Fort Kent Ambulance for treatment of minor injuries.

4/10 - Tr. Monahan arrested a male for violation of a protection order after he repeatedly called and texted a female. This is second time in past week he has been arrested by Troopers for violating the order.

4/11 - Tr. Clark received a complaint in reference to a subject out of the Hodgdon area that had purchased a vehicle at Card Enterprises in Ellsworth on a fake or faulty account. The car dealership requested that Tr. Clark locate the vehicle at the address given by the man. Tr. Clark located the vehicle at the address and notified the dealership so that they could come and take possession of the vehicle.

4/11 - Tr. Clark, Tr. Michaud and Sgt. Fuller attended the 65th RTT graduation

4/06-4/11 Sgt. Haines instructed at the NESPAC Basic Sniper Course in Jericho, VT as a member of the Tactical Team.

4/12 - Tr. Levesque assisted Madawaska PD with a low speed chase after a traffic complaint was called in on an intoxicated operator headed towards Frenchville. Madawaska PD encountered the vehicle which was being driven with a flat tire from an earlier accident and the operator refused to stop. The man made it back to his residence in Frenchville just as Trooper Levesque arrived on scene. The 75 year old man was taken into custody and charged with OUI, refusing to stop and driving to endanger.

4/13 – Tr. Hafford assisted Madawaska PD as an ERT. Tr. Hafford collected blood samples for DNA and took photos of a vehicle that was used in a case were the operator failed to Report a PI Accident. The male eventually confessed to the crime.

Troop F of the Maine State Police is responsible for Aroostook County and the extreme northern sections of Somerset, Piscataquis and Penobscot counties. In addition, the Troop patrols Interstate 95 from Sherman to the Canadian border in Houlton.
