Teacher Caught on Tape Stealing Money from Students [VIDEO]

A California teacher was caught on tape stealing money from students. Apparently the alleged teacher thief has been taking her students’ lunch money for over year, but it wasn’t until one of her students caught her in the act by placing a hidden camera in the gym’s locker room.

Justine Betti, a sophomore hid in a locker one day when the rest of the kids headed off to gym class. Soon after that, a teacher, described by many as ‘popular’ and ‘respected’ entered the locker room and started to go through students’ bags and take their money.

When Betti told her friends what she saw - no one believed her. So the ameture detective decided to set up a hidden camera. She used her dad’s cell phone camera to catch the teacher.

The whole thing was captured on tape! When Betti went to the principal and showed him the video he asked her to delete it! Luckily, Betti had emailed the file to her father and a few other friends.

Currently the teacher is on an administrative leave and criminal charges are pending. The school released a statement that said they were shocked and that the teacher has been an educator for over 30 years!
