Northern Border Regional Commission

Northern Border Regional Commission (NBRC) officials will be holding an informational meeting Wednesday, April 12 in Caribou and Machias to provide potential grant applicants with information about the application process and what projects may be eligible.

Over the last month, the Northern Maine Regional Airport in Presque has been awarded two separate grants which will assist in the development of a new hangar complex.

Four Maine communities, including one in Aroostook County, and one non-profit group have been awarded federal grants totaling more than $1.2 million from the Northern Border Regional Commission.
