A Maine man found guilty of luring a 15-year-old girl to her death with a fake Facebook profile has appealed his conviction to the state Supreme Court.
BANGOR, Maine (AP) — Police say a 20-year-old Maine man charged in the disappearance and death of a 15-year-old girl now faces charges in an unrelated burglary.
The Orono man with Aroostook County ties that was placed under arrest yesterday in the death of 15 year old Nichole Cable made his initial court appearance today.
According to the Maine Dept. of Public Safety spokesman Steve McCausland, a body was located Monday night around 9:30pm by the Maine Warden Service at an undisclosed wooded location.
