Maine State Police Using Aircraft to Clock Traffic

In an attempt to keep Maine roadways safe during the busy tourist season, state police say they are assisting their ground patrols by putting a little additional support in the sky.

According to a news release, the Department of Public Safety plans to utilize aircraft this summer as a means for controlling speeding motorists along Interstate 95 and Interstate 295.
