With the winter season fast approaching, 2nd District Congressman Bruce Poliquin is urging the federal government to allocate the highest amount of funds possible under its authority to LIHEAP, the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program.

Maine will receive an additional $3.4 million in funding through the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program, in addition to the $35 million already allocated in October.
