The weekend before Halloween you can take a ride on Maine's Ghost Train, if you dare!!!!! The Boothbay Railway Village presents their annual Ghost Train on October 28th and 29th from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

This sounds like a great day of fun for the entire family, Harvest Day is coming up on Saturday, October 15th at the Maine Wildlife Park in Gray.

The North American Wife Carrying Championship takes place at Sunday River right here in Maine every fall. Teams made up of men and women have to make their way through an obstacle course. The wife can be carried any way the team prefers, most teams use the  "Estonian carry" in  which the wife holds the husband by the waist, with her legs wrapped around his neck...

This annual event has grown in popularity over it's short history in central Maine, the 7th Annual Swine & Stein Oktoberfest in Gardiner is this Saturday from 11:30 until 6:30.

This idea is taking two awesome and combining them together, train rides and ice cream. Much like peanut butter and chocolate, take a ride on the Maine Narrow Gauge Railroad and add ice cream and you've got family fun!
