State Police Are Looking For Lebanon Man for a Domestic Violence Assault

Maine State Police are looking for a 52-year-old man from Lebanon, Maine for a domestic violence assault Wednesday morning.

Anyone with information about Dale Godfrey's whereabouts are asked to contact the State Police in Gray at 657-3030. Godfrey fled the scene around 4 in the morning in a pickup truck. Police found the vehicle a few miles away without Godfrey, according to Public Safety spokesman Steve McCausland.

The victim was treated for her injuries and released.

Press Release: State Police are looking for a Lebanon man following a violent domestic violence assault in that town early Wednesday morning.   Troopers are seeking the whereabouts of 52 year old Dale Godfrey, who fled in his pickup following the assault about 4am.  Trooper Kyle Wells said the pickup was located a few miles away, but Godfrey has not been found.   Wells said the woman victim was treated and released for her injuries. Anyone with information on Godfrey is asked to call State Police in Gray at 657-3030.
