If ever you thought that Comic-Con 2016 would miss out on the 50th anniversary of Star Trek, Bryan Fuller has your back. The future CBS Trek showrunner will host a starship-sized 50th anniversary panel featuring the likes of William Shatner, Jeri Ryan and members of all Trek, along with likely details of the new series.

Where previously Fuller confirmed that the first new Trek details would arrive around Comic-Con, Paramount confirms that the July 23 Comic-Con 2016 panel (in Hall H from 2:00 - 3:00 P.M., good luck!) will feature such alum as William Shatner, Enterprise captain Scott Bakula, The Next Generation vets Michael Dorn and Brent Spiner, and Voyager breakout Jeri Ryan.

For the moment, it remains to be seen exactly how much we’ll learn of the new series, whether an official title, premise, or potentially even actors. The next iteration of Star Trek will shoot in Toronto this fall, before debuting on CBS, and subsequently moving to its CBS All-Access home.

Star Trek Beyond will also premiere at Comic-Con 2016, but what other big surprises can we expect from the 50th anniversary presence?
