Bangor Jesse Speirs shot a 3-over par 74 on the final round of the PGA Web.com Tour Q-School in Florida Sunday afternoon and finishes in a tie for 105th place.

That means Speirs will have 'conditional' status for the 2017 tour events, meaning he is not guaranteed to get a spot in every tournament. It will be his second year on the tour.

The Q-School winner, Jim Renner, gets full exempt status for the tour. Renner won it with a score of -14.

Two through 10 finishers get exemptions for the first 12 tournaments next year.

11 through 45 place finishers get exemptions for the first eight events.

Speirs was playing par golf Sunday when he took a triple bogey on the 13th hole. He finished the four day tournament at 3-over par 289.

Most players call this PGA Q-School event the most stressful tourney in golf.

NOTE: 2016 Greater Bangor Open winner Jesse Larson (Vermont) finished in a tie for 72nd place...Massachusetts pro Evan Harmeling, who finished third at the GBO, finished tied for 89th...Both golfers will have 'conditional' status on the tour.
