The Red Sox have added righthanded hitting outfielder Chris Young, sigining him as a free agent. Young played for the Yankees last season.

Young is 32-years-old and Fox Sports reporter Ken Rosenthal says it is a multi-year deal.

He played in 140 games for the Yanks last year, hitting .252 with 14 HR and 42 RBI. He is seen as a guy to face lefty pitching.

Jackie Bradley is a lefty hitter...could Young be the platoon guy? Or, is there another deal in the works? Mookie Betts and Rusney Castillo are righty hitters too.
