As the Boston Red Sox continue to play shorthanded because of the flu bug that has taken over the clubhouse, they found a way to score four runs in the 8th inning Sunday afternoon and beat the Detroit Tigers 7-5.

Sandy Leon had the big hit - a two-run single.

Rick Porcello struggled through the first six innings but managed to keep his team in it. He gave up four runs and 11 hits.

Matt Barnes got the win in relief and Craig Kimbrel got the save.
