The Red Sox and Blue Jays battled back and forth during the game during Saturday afternoon, but when the dust settled, it was Toronto that came out on top in a 10-9 victory.

David Ortiz hit a home run in the top of the ninth inning to break the 8-8 deadlock between the two teams after the Blue Jays had scored four times in the half inning prior.  The homer was Ortiz's 13th of the season and he now has 46 RBIs as well.  The Jays would come back in the bottom of the ninth inning against Sox closer Craig Kimbrel off of a RBI single by Russell Martin and then a Devon Travis hit that would later score the catcher.

Rick Porcello pitched well for the Sox, getting a no decision and allowing four runs on seven hits over 6.2 innings pitched.  The bullpen struggled in the contest in the eighth as Tommy Layne surrendered two runs without retiring a batter and Junichi Tazawa also gave up two scores in just one out.  Craig Kimbrel took the loss after giving up two runs in the ninth inning in his longest outing of the season.

Hanley Ramirez led the Sox with three RBIs in the contest and Xander Bogaerts extended his hitting streak to 21 games with his sixth home run of the season.  The shortstop also had two singles.

Boston will wrap up the three game series with the Blue Jays tomorrow afternoon.  David Price will face RA Dickey in the pitching match-up.
