Forget about which nations take gold at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio in August — the season's real competition is more a matter of superior pop jams.

In 2015, PopCrush readers crowned Britney Spears' and Iggy Azalea's "Pretty Girls" the summer's must-hear anthem, and now, we're on the quest to name its successor. Already, Rihanna's and Calvin Harris' "This Is What You Came For" is squaring off against Justin Timberlake's "Can't Stop The Music" in the 2016 tournament's first round, and today (June 21), a second radio-battle has taken shape.

In one corner, Drake's "One Dance" feat. WizKid and Kyla is digging in its heels. The Views standout has already done real damage on the Billboard charts — it's currently No. 1 on the Hot 100 for a sixth straight week, but could an early peak mean it'll make its inevitable descent before the competition really begins?

Across the ring is Ariana Grande's "Into You," the second single from Dangerous Woman, which has so far ascended to No. 47 on Billboard's Hot 100. While not yet a discernible threat, the song has all the makings of a Cinderella story, and Spotify forecasts that it could be the victor when the dust has cleared.

Both songs are tailor-made for the dance floor, but which one will still be playing at last call? Vote below, plead your case in the comments and check back throughout the week, during which we'll unveil the remaining Song of Summer '16 first-round candidates.

This poll ends Tuesday, June 28 — be sure to vote before then!
