The Anglophone West School District in New Brunswick can claim the most storm days this year, with most schools in the district losing at least 7 days and some even higher at 10.

Schools here in Aroostook County have accumulated just about as many snow days this year, often erring on the side of caution and not sending students to school if there was to be a big storm heading our way.

Despite the loss of class time, David McTimoney Superintendant of the Anglophone West School District says there's been no discussions yet with the Department of Education to extend the school year.

As a kid, I remember going to school for a half day on Saturday a few times at the end of the school year, in an attempt by the school to make up snow days. What are your thoughts on this?
