UMaine senior Sigi Koizar scored 25 points but the Black Bears still lost to Hampton University 58-49 in the final game of the Naismith Hall of Fame Challenge Tourney in South Carolina.

The loss means UMaine goes 1-2 in the tourney and the overall record now is 2-4.

The Black Bears had a one point lead at the half, 27-26, but Hampton closed the third quarter on a an 11-2 run and the Bears never got closer than four points.

Koizar's 25 points moves her into 9th place on the all time scoring list at UMaine with 1,317 points.

The Bears play one more game in the Hall of Fame Challenge, Sunday in Springfield, Massachusetts, home of the Basketball Hall of Fame. The opponent is UT-Chattanooga.
