Siberia Is Seeing Record Snow, That Could Mean A Harsh Winter For Us
The Weather Channel is reporting that Siberia is seeing major snow and that could be an omen of a very cold winter for us in the United States.
As of October 31, snow is covering all of Siberia. Sakha in east-central Russia is seeing record snowfall with almost 10 feet of snow already.
Have you heard a weatherman use the term polar vortex before? The cold air orginates from Siberia. With all of the snow and cold air building so early in Siberia, if the jet stream sets up correctly, that cold air could be settling in for much of the winter.
