Have you noticed the NHL stats leaders in goals and points? Boston Bruins brat Brad Marchand is right there with the likes of Sidney Crosby, Connor McDavid and Evgeni Malkin.

And so, it begs the question, should Brad Marchand get consideration for the NHL Most Valuable Player Award?

Consider the numbers...He's got 32 goals and only Crosby has more with 34. Marchand now has 70 points (32 goals, 38 assists). Only McDavid has more with 74.

He's the first Boston Bruin to reach 70 points since 2008-09 when David Krejci and Marc Savard did it.
