Scouting for Food Event to be Held in Houlton Area

It's that time of year when it's starting to really get cold outside, and money is often tight for many people. Some people have to make the tough choice as to whether to eat or to eat there home.

That's why Cub Scout Pack 155 based in Hodgdon will be holding their Scouting for Food event on Saturday, November 15th beginning at 10:00 a.m.

The boys put out door hangers on many homes in Houlton and the surrounding areas recently and will be picking them up this Saturday, the 15th.  The goal is to collect as many non-perishable food items as possible to help those in need.

Please remember to leave your food out where it can be easily seen from the road and if you have a door hanger put it on your bag or box.

If you did not receive a door hanger and would like to help out Cub Scout Pack 155 and local food pantries, please call 694-0238 and they will be sure to pick up from you.
