Two seniors led Schenck to a quarterfinal win over Hodgdon in Tuesday morning's first Class C North quarterfinal at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor.

Justin Thompson and Chris King had 22 points and 19 points, respectively,for the No. 6 Wolverines on the way to a 65-46 win over the No. 3 Hawks and a trip to the semifinals.

Although Schenck (15-5) was the lower seed, the win over Hodgdon (12-7) wasn't necessarily an upset as both teams had similar regular season records.

Schenck, of East Millinocket, controlled the game from early on, leading 16-11 after one quarter, 30-21 at the half and 46-34 after three quarters.

Seniors Daden Palmer and Kevin McAfee had 15 points and 8 points, respectively, for the Hawks.Wyatt Foster had 7 points.
