Poor Sage Steele.

Evidently, the protests that have been taking place at the Los Angeles airport LAX have inconvenienced her.

Like many around the globe, people have been responding to President Donald Trump's recent immigration and refugee ban, and the folks at LAX kept the sports broadcaster from catching her flight.

"So this is why thousands of us dragged luggage nearly two miles to get to LAX but still miss our flights," she wrote on Instagram.

"Fortunately, a seven hour wait for the next flight to Houston won't affect me that much, but my heart sank for the elderly and parents with small children who did their best to walk all that way but had no chance of making their flights. I love witnessing people exercise their right to protest, but it saddened me to see the joy in their faces knowing that they were successful in disrupting so many," added Steele.

Not surprisingly, she was roasted on social media.

"Someone needs to start a petition to have Sage Steele fired," someone wrote. "She's average at her job and so out of touch with reality."

"Sage Steele is a joke," wrote another. "Heart sinks for those who may have missed the flight, never mind the folks from war torn countries."

"I actually really enjoyed you," tweeted someone else. "But I disagree a lot with your opinion on this."

Afterward, Sage responded.

"All good," she wrote. "But just because someone has a different opinion, doesn't mean they're the worst. Unless, of course, only your opinion is followed."
