Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo made news on Tuesday morning on two fronts that will shake-up the football landscape.

The former QB was said to be courted by three different TV networks before agreeing to a deal with CBS to broadcast NFL games this upcoming fall, according to the Sports Business Journal.  Romo will replace Phil Simms as the broadcast partner with Jim Nantz on CBS games.  Part of the agreement will also allow Romo to be part of golf coverage on the network.

Romo played parts of 13 seasons with the Dallas Cowboys and complied 248 career touchdowns with 117 interceptions.  He will turn 37 on April 21st.

Do you like the move to have Tony Romo replace Phil Simms in the broadcast booth this season?
