Rented Bungalow Burns In Somerville, New Brunswick
Two adults lost most of their belongings in a weekend fire that extensively damaged the bungalow they rented in Somerville, just across the St. John River from Hartland, New Brunswick.
Disaster volunteers with the Canadian Red Cross arranged emergency purchases of clothing, food and other basics for the couple, who are staying with relatives for now. Their names have not yet been released.
There were no injuries from the fire, which occurred Saturday at 9 Craig Road, near River Valley Craft Shop.
Somerville is located on Route 103 between Wakefield and Hartland.
