The West District RCMP is searching for a Saint-Quentin man who has a warrant out for his arrest.

According to the RCMP, on Tuesday, June 5, in Woodstock Provincial court, charges of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and flight from police were laid against 29-year old Yves Leo Paul Levesque.

An arrest warrant was issued. Police have followed up several leads to try and locate him but have so far been unsuccessful.

Levesque is described as being 5'5" tall, weighing approximately 145 lbs. He has black hair and blue eyes.

The charges were the result of an incident on March 19, 2018, at around 5:30 p.m., when a member of the Perth-Andover RCMP detachment attempted to stop a car on Fort Road in Perth-Andover. The car then fled the scene in what was reported as a dangerous manner and has yet to be located.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact the Perth-Andover RCMP at 506-325-3000. Information can also be provided anonymously through Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
