RCMP Seeking Suspect in Moncton Bank Robbery

RCMP are investigating an armed robbery Tuesday morning  at Royal Bank at 1955 Mountain Road in Moncton.

A man entered the bank at approximately 9:30 a.m., armed with a weapon, and demanded money from a teller, according to Constable. David Swansburg  of the Codiac Regional   RCMP.  The robber fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.  No one was injured.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian man, clean shaven with short grey hair and a small build. He appeared to be in his late 50's or early 60's and spoke English. As seen in the surveillance photos, the suspect was wearing sunglasses, a  long dark overcoat, dark gloves and a dark hat.
