West District RCMP, New Brunswick RCMP's Major Crime Unit, and Crime Stoppers are seeking information about the suspicious death of a Morrell Siding man.

On May 2, 2017, Mounties received a report of a missing man from Morrell Siding.

According to the report, 42-year old Tony Vaillancourt had not been in contact with friends or family since April of the same year.

On August 2, 2017, Vaillancourt's body was pulled from the St. John River, close to Tobique Narrows, New Brunswick. After conducting an autopsy, RCMP determined that the death was suspicious.

The investigation by law enforcement continues.
