Police say two suspects entered the bank at around 11 a.m., armed with a weapon, and demanded money from the teller. The suspects then fled the scene on a motorcycle with an undisclosed amount of cash. No one was injured in the crime, according to Cpl. Andrea Gallant.

A 67-year-old man from McAdam and a 42-year-old man from Saint John were arrested shortly after 8:00 p.m. Wednesday outside a residence in the St. George area, Gallant said. Both men were to appear in Burton Provincial court Thursday afternoon to face charges in relation to the armed robbery.

Police recovered cash and seized a weapon thought to be used in the crime.

West District RCMP would like to thank the public for their assistance in this investigation.
