On August 13, at around 5:30 p.m., a pickup truck pulled up to pump number 6 at the gas station, and a man filled the vehicle's gas tank then left without paying, according to Sgt. J.P. MacDougall.

Police efforts to track down the driver have not been successful. The licence plate on the truck belongs to another vehicle and police have been unable to identify the registered owner of the truck. A video surveillance photo is being released in hopes that someone may recognize the man or the truck.

The truck is an older model, dark blue, Ford F150 extended cab, with a silver equipment box in the back and a large 'Browning' decal in the rear window.

The driver is described as a Caucasian man with thin build, measuring approximately 6’ tall. He had short dark hair, a moustache, and possibly a short trimmed beard. At the time, he was wearing dark jeans, a dark grey or black tank top, black sneakers and white sunglasses.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Woodstock RCMP at 506-325-3000.

Information can also be provided anonymously through Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), texting TIP212 + your message to 'CRIMES' (274637), or by Secure Web Tips.
