Rams vs Red Eddies On 92.9 The Ticket

It's year two for the new Class AA high school basketball in Maine and in the season opener the Bangor Rams girls team will host the defending North Region champ, Edward Little HS from Auburn.

Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket and 929theticket.com has live coverage from Red Barry Gym starting at 7pm.

The Rams are coming off a 10-8 season and a #3 seed in the AA regional. Bangor has five seniors on the roster including four year player Katie Butler. The Rams are coached be Joe Johnson.

The Red Eddies lost Emily Jacques and two other players through graduation from last year's 14-4 team. EL lost to Gorham in the state title game. Jordyn Reynolds, Piper Norcross and Kaylee Jipson are key returning players for coach Craig Jipson.

NOTE: Bangor girls only state championship came in 1982 (35 years ago)...Edward Little girls have never won a state championship.
