Two Men Face Charges in Meth Bust in Northwest New Brunswick
RCMP arrested two men and seized a large quantity of drugs after a vehicle stop on the Trans-Canada Highway in Saint-Jacques, New Brunswick on Wednesday.
Police seized over 2000 pills which are believed to be methamphetamine, according to Cpl. Michel Ouellette of the West District RCMP.
A 38-year-old man from Saint-Marc-du-Lac-Long, Quebec and a 21-year-old man from Saint-Eusèbe, Quebec were arrested and later released. They are expected to appear in Edmundston Provincial Court on November 3 to face drug related charges.
Police believe the drugs were destined for the northwestern part of New Brunswick.
The investigation is continuing.
