State Police are investigating a shooting incident in the town of Hollis.

The Portland Press Herald reports that a Hollis woman is being treated for a gunshot wound. State Police say 32-year-old Andria Richardson was shot outside her home on River Road  at around 8:30 Tuesday night. Her three young children were home at the time of the shooting and are now being cared for by relatives. Richardson underwent surgery last night at a Portland hospital and is expected to survive.

Two men were questioned at the scene of the shooting, but so far no one has been charged. The incident remains under investigation.
