Police Investigating Fatal Crash in Wiscasset

Police in Lincoln County are investigating a fatal traffic crash on Route 1 near the border of Wiscasset and Woolwich.

Deputies on the scene say two people have also been taken to local hospitals on Friday. That according to WCSH-TV.

The extent of their injuries was not available from authorities.

Officials with the Lincoln County Sheriff's Department say a crash reconstruction team will work on the scene.

Police have not identified any of the people involved in the crash.
