UPDATE 9:50 p.m.: Ellsworth shooting suspect Aaron Wagner has been spotted in the Bridge Hill area.

Police on Monday said they are still searching for an Ellsworth man accused of shooting out the rear window of an occupied SUV in the parking lot of Deane Street Apartments. At the end of the day Monday, police said they were "concerned for [his] mental well-being."

Complaints were filed with the Hancock County District Attorney’s office charging Aaron Wagner, 41, with Reckless Conduct with a Firearm and Aggravated Criminal Mischief.

Wagner is accused of firing shots at an a SUV carrying two men at about 6 p.m. on Sunday. Neither were injured.

Wagner fled the scene, but was spotted around the city on a few occasions.

The ensuing search, which involved more than 30 officers, prompted the closure of city schools on Monday.

Police say  Wagner may be suffering from mental health issues and may not be taking his prescribed medication.
