The RCMP is searching for the driver of a car in connection with two separate hit-and-run incidents early Sunday in Moncton.

Four people were walking on the sidewalk on Mountain Road in the Killam Drive area around midnight when a yellow Chevrolet Cobalt drove onto the sidewalk and hit one of the pedestrians, according to Sgt. André Pepin.

About three hours later, a man walking on the sidewalk along McLaughlin Drive near Morton Avenue was struck by a vehicle matching the same description. In both cases, the pedestrians suffered minor injuries.

Anyone with any information about the identity of the driver or who witnessed either of the collisions is asked to call the Codiac Regional RCMP at 506-857-2400.
