On "Black Beatles," Slim Jxmmi ends his verse rapping, "Black Beatle, bitch, me and Paul McCartney related." Whatever the two had in common before though has been taken a full step further, as Paul McCartney himself has posted the above video to Twitter showing himself participating in the Mannequin Challenge as Rae Sremmurd's "Black Beatles" plays.

The SremmLife brothers popularized the Mannequin Challenge earlier this month, when they involved a crowd at a Denver show in executing a near-perfect version of it. The audience and performers froze as "Black Beatles" played, all shown erupting in motion as the beat dropped. The song has become attached to the Internet craze as a result, McCartney, a real-life Beatle, adding to the growing list of celebrities taking part.

In the days since the Sremm display, Young Thug and A$AP Ferg have each participated in the challenge, Thug sitting on a private jet as new track he has with 21 Savage plays. Ferg meanwhile executed the stunt live in concert in Portland on his Turnt and Burnt Tour, opting for his own smash hit, “New Level,” instead of the Sremmurd tune.

Peep McCartney's Mannequin Challenge video up above. In terms of degree of difficulty or number of participants, it's fairly mild, but the respect paid is huge.
