It's been a rollercoaster of a year for metal's most notable couple. Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne's marriage nearly dissolved after Ozzy's infidelity came to light, spurring Sharon to confirm that the two had indeed split, though that has since changed. With everything behind them, the couple will be looking ahead with the renewal of their wedding vows.

"Ozzy has asked me to renew our wedding vows and I'd like to," Sharon told the Daily Mail. "I'm happy and to be honest, that's all I want for Christmas this year," she continued. After a bumpy first half of the year where Sharon revealed Ozzy had cheated on her with five women in five different countries, their relationship has been on the mend.

"In my life I have been so blessed but when one side of your life is so brilliant other things can suffer. It is hard when you are both successful and both working away," she conceded. "It is easy to take each other for granted. We have been married for 35 years and been together 38 years. You have to have some ups and downs."

Sharon admitted it is difficult being married to someone who struggles with addiction, making an appearance on Conan in September, stating they had been working through their issues. “It’s tough, you know, when you’re an addict," she admitted. "He likes too much alcohol, he likes too much drugs, he likes too much sex. He likes too much food. Everything is too much, so it’s tough for somebody that suffers with that.”

One of those ups came in October when he gave Sharon a birthday surprise. While in the middle of filming an episode of The Talk, Ozzy made an on-camera appearance, delivering a bouquet of flowers and presenting a ring box while "Crazy Train" flooded the studio speakers.
