Gucci Mane caused a tizzy on the Internet when he announced that he worked with OutKast on a song. This news ignited rumors on social media that Big Boi and Andre 3000 could be working on a new album. But alas, it’s not true.

A rep for OutKast told The FADER that the ATL duo is not working on a new album. “No Outkast news to report.” What a bummer.

Nevertheless, Guwop recently went on his Snapchat page to update the fans on his features that he recorded. Apparently, the Zone 6 leader submitted guest verses on tracks by Diplo, 2 Chainz, Peewee Longway, Quavo, Lil' Wayne and Boosie Badazz. OutKast was also mentioned in the mix, but we don’t know what he actually did with the group.

Gucci's news comes after Big Boi recently announced he's working on a solo album and a collaborative project with Killer Mike. Meanwhile, fans are still waiting for Andre 3000 to drop his solo album. However, he did deliver two rewind-worthy hip-hop quotables on Frank Ocean's "Solo (Reprise)" as well as on Travi$ Scott's fantastic track "the ends," from his Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight album.
