One Person Killed In Turner Fire [UPDATE]

The State Fire Marshal's Office has released the identity of a man who died in a house fire in the town of Turner.

Officials say the victim is 69-year-old John Jordan, who lived alone in the house. The fire was reported at around 2 a.m. Saturday on Jordan Lane, near Hannaford. The two-story house was nearly flattened in the fire and his body was discovered in the rubble.

Investigators say the cause of the fire can't be determined because the damage was so extensive.
