A 29-year-old woman from Old Town was sentenced in U.S. District Court by Chief Judge Nancy Torresen to 3½ years in prison and three years of supervised release for maintaining a drug involved premises.

Court records say, Alialin Doughty allowed her apartment in Bangor to be used by Yanel Greene, Mario Lee to store, package and sell over 2.2 kilograms of crack and 154 grams of heroin and oxycodone.

Judge Torreson said at the sentencing: “a lot of poison had been pumped into the community.”

Doughty’s conduct was aggravated due to her 2009 state drug conviction for essentially the same kind of conduct, said court documents.

The Maine Drug Enforcement Agency and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration investigated the case. It was prosecuted as part of the Department of Justice’s Strategy to Combat the Opioid Epidemic.
