Oakfield Crash Injures Local Man

An Oakfield man suffers only minor injuries in a crash on I-95.

State Police were called to a personal injury crash on the southbound lane of the the Interstate 95 in Oakfield.  The subsequent investigation showed that 48 year old Kenneth Cabral of Oakfield was traveling South in his 2006 Mercury sedan when he lost control and left the roadway striking some trees.

Cabral was not wearing a seatbelt and suffered minor facial injuries in the crash.  Cabral was transported by Houlton Ambulance to Houlton Regional Hospital.  The airbag deployed and the vehicle sustained major damage and was towed from the scene.
