Nicki Minaj Trolls Fans With Fake Album ‘Pick My Fruit Out'; Twitter Reacts

Nicki Minaj must have bored or something because she decided to troll her fans (aka “her Barbz”) on Twitter with a fake album announcement.

On Saturday (Oct. 8), the rap superstar jumped on her Twitter account to revealed the album and the tracklist. “Ok u know what I wasn't gonna say anything but damn ya got it out of me. The album drops at midnight. It's called #PickMyFruitOut.”

This sent Twitter into a tizzy as folks began to tweet their excitement of a new Nicki Minaj album.

But the jig was up once she unveiled her ridiculous tracklist on Twitter. The song list featured fruit-related song titles, including "Bananas" (Harambe interlude). Really?

However, Nicki still played along even announcing that her favorite song on the fake album is a hidden track called "N---- Toss My Fruit Salad."

"It features my favorite rapper of all time," she wrote.

When midnight came and went and no Pick My Fruit Out album, fans finally realized that no new album was on the horizon, much to their chagrin.

"How are Nicki Minaj fans not more pissed that she joked about dropping a new album? I'm pretty annoyed and I don't even really like her," tweeted one person. Another commenter wrote, "C'mon... Do y'all actually think Nicki would name her album Pick Out My Fruit? And drop it w/o any promo or nothing?"
