Nick Cannon is fed up with the rumors. The entertainer went on Twitter yesterday (June 5) to refute a report by TMZ that states he has not signed the divorce papers to end his marriage with Mariah Carey. The America's Got Talent host directed his tweet at TMZ's Twitter account.

"Slow news day huh?" Nick Cannon wrote. "Going back to the same well. How many times y’all going to report this lie? Tell your so called 'sources' to call me."

TMZ's report said that Mariah Carey has been attempting to get Nick Cannon to sign the papers for nearly a year yet he will not sign. Their sources claimed that while Cannon wanted out of the marriage, he is still in love with Carey. The article also purported that Cannon does not want Carey to marry her fiancé, James Packer.

Outside of the alleged drama in his divorce proceedings, Nick Cannon raised some eyebrows this weekend when he challenged Eminem to a rap battle. On top of that, the rapper/actor wanted to put $100,000 on the line.

"I’m still ready! I’m trying to find [Eminem]. Where is he?" Cannon said during an interview with Tim Westwood. "We gonna be out in the States for the BET Awards. I’m holding a $100,000 battle — whoever wants it — but it has to be someone who can put up 100 grand... I done reached out to Tyga, he didn’t want it. I went to all Slaughterhouse. I did it like Mortal Kombat, I said I’ll take all of them out to get to the boss."

Considering that his old beef with Eminem was centered around Mariah Carey, this challenge came at an interesting time. It might be best for Nick Cannon to move on as a way to quiet the aforementioned rumors.
