Nick Cannon and Chilli had the internet in a tizzy when reports surfaced that they may be a couple after being spotted canoodling at a TLC-headline concert.

When confronted with the romance news by Extra TV, the America’s Got Talent host was a little coy in answer the simple question, “Are you dating Chilli?”

“That’s an amazing woman, but you got to ask her,” he deflected. “I’m not good at dating, as the world knows.”

“I don’t think she would accept me,” he added. “I’m little bit of damaged goods right now.”

Damaged goods? Cannon may be referring to his impending divorce from his ex-wife, Mariah Carey, which probably leaves him a little scorn on love.

Meanwhile, Chilli has been mum on the dating rumors. A cursory look at her Twitter page, show that the only relationship she's enjoying right now is entertaining her fans. We are not mad at her for that.

Nevertheless, an insider has told E! News that Nick and Chilli are just “hanging out.” "[They've] been friends for some time and just recently this summer they have been hanging out romantically," said the source.
