Dunkin Donuts has been a County favorite for many decades, but there are plans to up their game and brand in the summer of 2019.

According to the company's website, beginning in January 2019, the well-known donut and coffee place will simply be known as 'Dunkin'.

The new name doesn't mean they'll stop selling their tasty donuts and treats and they will continue to serve the public with their coffee brands as well.

The County has reported that a spokesman for the company stated that a new store with the new brand name will be built in Caribou, on Bennett Drive, between the Irving Gas Station and the Rec Center.

The new store has been designed to replace the brown aesthetic with grey tones.

As far as their coffee varieties are concerned, the new store will serve cold beverages and coffee with a tap system to include cold brewed coffee infused with nitro.

The new facility is set to employ anywhere between 25 and 30 people.

Their plan is set to begin construction in the spring of 2019 with a grand opening in mid-summer.
