More than 400 athletes, coaches and managers spent the last two weeks in Sherbrooke, Quebec competing with teams from across Canada in a variety of sports including basketball, tennis, diving and cycling.

Following Saturday’s final day of competition, double medal winner Geneviève Lalonde of Moncton served as Team NB’s flag bearer at the closing ceremonies.

Lalonde won gold by setting a new provincial, national and Canada Games record in the 2.000-metre steeplechase, and a bronze in the 1,500-metres on the track.
