The RCMP has released a photo of a 29-year-old Moncton man wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for aggravated assault.

Jeffrey Ernest Curran is wanted in connection with an assault that sent a 36-year-old man to hospital with stab wounds. The incident occurred at around 2:00 a.m. Thursday in the area of Robinson Street and Main Street in Moncton, according to Cst. Anthony Gaudet of the Codiac Detachment.

Curran is described as Caucasian with very short-cropped brown hair, brown eyes, approximately 5’7” tall, and weighing between 190 and 200 lbs. Police say he also has tattoos on his arms and neck.

RCMP caution people not to approach or confront Curran as police consider him to be dangerous.
