Moncada, Benintendi On All-Star Rosters [VIDEO]

Boston Red Sox minor leaguers Yoan Moncada and Andrew Benintendi will be participating in the Futures minor league all-star game on July 10th in San Diego.

Moncada will be part of the World Futures roster and is viewed as the top prospect within the Red Sox organization by Baseball America.  The second baseman is hitting .306 with five home runs and 36 stolen bases between Salem and Portland in 2016.

Benintendi is on the US Futures roster and will play the outfield in the contest after being drafted in the first round by Boston a year ago.  He is hitting .302 on the year with four home runs and 54 RBIs between Single and Double A.

The All Star Game will kick-off the festivities in San Diego on Sunday afternoon, before the Home Run Derby on Monday and the MLB All Star Game on July 12th.
