If it feels like James Corden has sung with everyone under the sun, it's probably because he has. Not literally, but he has had some of the world's brightest celebrities participate in his Carpool Karaoke. This week, he had his most famous one yet.
First Lady Michelle Obama was Corden's latest Carpool Karaoke participant, and joining her midway through the energetic karaoke performance was Missy Elliott.

The hilarious karaoke session began with Corden making his way around the White House parking lot, where he encountered an extremely stern security guard. Corden appears overwhelmed, but quickly calms down when the First Lady pops into the scene and offers to give him a tour. Of course Corden agrees, and the two are off.

First on their list of songs to sing was Stevie Wonder's "Sign Sealed and Delivered." Next, Michelle and Corden jammed out to Beyoncé's "Single Ladies."

While Corden and the First Lady's first two songs were a lot of fun to watch, the action jumped to another level when Missy Elliott joined them to perform her and the First Lady's track, "This Is For My Girls." After that, they jumped into Missy's "Get Ur Freak On," bouncing around Corden's car like as if they were at a middle school dance in 2003. It's pretty much pop culture perfection.

Corden did his best to keep up, but Missy and the First Lady had too much chemistry. As we mentioned before, the two appeared on a song together just a few months ago. The First Lady also paid tribute to Missy's music and activism a few weeks ago at VH1's Hip Hop Honors.

“I’m so proud of the two of you because through your music and your activism, including your support of our Let Girls Learn initiative, you all are empowering young women around the world to believe in themselves and fulfill their boundless promise,” said the First Lady in her pre-taped speech.

Missy and the First Lady were pretty impressive performing together with Corden, and with President Barack Obama's tenure as Commander in Chief coming to a close, there's a chance we'll get to see them perform together again in the near future. Keep it locked with XXL just in case that happens.
