Houlton Police report that a 34-year-old woman who went missing early Monday morning has been found alive after a nearly two-day search.

The woman was reported to be dehydrated and disoriented when she was located late Tuesday afternoon in the back of Evergreen Cemetery in Houlton, not far from her home. She was transported to Houlton Regional Hospital for a medical evaluation.

The Houlton Police Department posted on social media Tuesday evening that the woman's family had been notified and were to be reunited with her shortly. Police are thanking residents throughout the County for their concern and for helping to circulate the missing woman's photo and information.
