Singing “Finding Wonderland” from the Broadway show Wonderland, Korda won the hearts of the judges as well as the audience to receive a $4000 scholarship from the Miss America Foundation.

Speaking of her experience of performing on the Miss America pageant stage, Korda called it “surreal.”

Korda said,  "As a musician, I'm constantly practicing the 'perfect performance,' to completely let go and live in the music. . . Walking off stage, I have never felt more alive.  I am truly honored and proud of this accomplishment.”

Kristin Korda hopes to pursue a degree at Berklee College of Music.
